Square in a Square

This quilt is machine made from a Batik Jewel Collection.  

I gave this quilt to Kristin.

Made for Julia

I designed this quilt modeled after a quilt I saw at a quilt show.  It is appliqued on each square.  This quilt was made for Julia.

Angel Quilt

I made this Angel Quilt while quilting with a quilting group I was in with Lorrie.  They had already made this quilt.  I borrowed the patterns and made this beautiful quilt.  It was one of my first quilts.

This went to Brianna.

State Fair of Texas Red Ribbon

This quilt is Mother Goose Nursery Rhyme.  I made this quilt when I first started quilting.  I entered it in the State Fair of Texas Quilting Applique Division.  I won a second place red ribbon. 

This went to Lorrie.

This is a seasonal wall  hanging that I made for fun.

Civil War Quilt

This quilt is made with a Civil War Theme.  It has civil war patterns, material and colors.

Eddie got this quilt.

Santa Christmas Quilt

This quilt was made in a monthly quilt class that I went to with Lorrie.  We would have one month to finish one or two squares.  This took one year to finish.

Kristin has this quilt.

Quilted Wall Hanging

This quilt was a purchased pattern.  It is a small quilt that can be used as a wall hanging.

It is a Fall Theme made by piecing and applique.

Patriotic

I bought this pattern for a class at Decatur Quilt Shop.  

Each month you received instructions on a pattern and you picked out your own fabric.

This went to Brian.

Christmas Quilt for Renee

This is a Christmas Quilt I made for Renee.  

It still lives at Lorrie's House.  

Maybe someday it will make its way to Renee's house.

Made for Elizabeth

Lorrie was part of a quilting group that met once a month.  She invited me to join them.  We were taught one square a month.  Lorrie and I shared the sewing of this quilt.  Once it was finished the end product was one beautiful quilt.  It is made with applique and piecing.  We gave it to Elizabeth from both of us.  

Block of the Month

I made this with a block of the month group I was part of.  

It is a pieced quilt.  I really enjoyed making this quilt.  

I love the colors.

Block of the Month Also

This is a Block of the Month Quilt that I made with a quilt group.  It is fun to get together with the ladies.  We are all working on the same block but they all come out a little different.

Learning to Piece + Blue = Kristin

This quilt was my first attempt to learn how to piece.  

I really did not think it would turn into anything.  

Kristin loves blue.  So when it was finished I gave it to her.

I made this quilt for my grandson, Blake.

Great Granddaughter Julia!

Angela asked me to make this quilt as a wall hanging for Julia's Nursery.  It is modeled after a book Angela found called 12 Gifts of Birth by Costanzo Charlene.  

I took pieces from the book and designed the quilt.

Grandma's Flower Garden

This quilt is called Grandma's Flower Garden.  I started making it because it is all hand work.  It was a great quilt to have all the pieces with me and work on while traveling.  I worked on this quilt for about two years.  I often had it with me and worked on it while visiting Brian in California.  I also hand quilted this quilt.  I gave this quilt to Brian and his family.

I Spy Quilt for Kyle

I made this machine sewn and quilted I Spy Quilt for Kyle.  

He keeps it on his bed.
